The NordicLight collection from Auliare is made from 100% bamboo Lyocell.

The 60S yarn size is woven into 800 thread count fabric. This produces a lightweight and very soft bedding to deliver maximum comfort during your slumber.

The Lyocell process maintains the chemical structure of the cellulose used to make the fabric, which means that this bamboo fabric is very strong, durable, and soft.

Features

• Anti Bacterial – Bamboo fibre is resistant to bacterial and fungal growth due to a natural component, kun. As bacterial growth is inhibited, the development of unpleasant odours is also minimised.
• Hypoallergenic – The naturally smooth fibres of Bamboo are gentle on your skin, which makes it ideal for those with allergies and skin sensitivities such as dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.
• Sweat Wicking – Bamboo fibre is porous and absorbs up to four times more moisture than cotton, but unlike cotton, it rapidly evaporates the moisture it absorbs.
• Thermal Regulating – Excellent sweat wicking properties help keep our bodies dry and regulate body temperature. This makes it suitable for all weather types – cool in summer and warm in winter.
• Eco Friendly – Production of Bamboo Lyocell utilises a closed loop process which has minimal impact on the environment. Bamboo Lyocell is fully biodegradable.
• Duvet Cover – Uses a zip closure (not buttons or snap closers).

How is Bamboo Lyocell Fabric Eco-friendly?

• Requires no pesticides or fertilisers, and far less water than other plants
• Bamboo Lyocell fabric is created in a closed looped technique that uses a non-toxic solvent amine oxide, to break down bamboo pulp.
• In the closed loop technique, 99% of the solvent and water used is recovered and reused in the manufacturing process, thereby significantly reducing water consumption. Residual waste is minimal and harmless to the environment.
